Jan Kempenaers maakte de (voorlopig) meest recente fotoreeks in het "Transformatie van het landschap"- project in opdracht van het Vlaams Architectuurinstituut.
Hij fotografeerde tussen 2003 en 2004.
Kempenaers is bekend als landschapsfotograaf en stelde o.a. tentoon in het MUKHA en deSingel.
